houseMicah House is the work of a group of Christians from a variety of churches and organizations in Hamilton. Together, it is our goal to demonstrate God's love to newly arrived refugees upon their arrival in Hamilton. It is our intention to provide a loving and caring environment for newly arrived refugees so that they may receive a warm welcome to Canada. We believe that God's call to "do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God" includes refugees from all nations, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or political ideology. Micah House strives to be a place where God's love is felt and communicated within an atmosphere of welcome and peace. Micah House provides shelter and assistance for newly arrived refugees who would otherwise have been homeless upon their arrival in Hamilton.Micah House is situated east of downtown Hamilton in a beautiful, old 2 1/2 storey home in an established and very pleasant residential neighbourhood.
